Cannabis Flower in Mount Pleasant Vancouver

📍 Mount Pleasant · Open Daily: 9AM - 11PM

Mount Pleasant has always had a strong relationship with quality cannabis, long before legalization made that conversation mainstream. Coastal Green on Main Street is our way of honouring that culture while operating within a legal framework that actually protects consumers. The flower we carry on our shelf at 208 E 16th Ave goes through a real evaluation before it gets there. Not a marketing evaluation. A product evaluation.

How We Choose What Goes on the Shelf

We look at a few things when we decide what flower to stock. Terpene profile is the first filter. High-myrcene strains with earthy, fuel-forward profiles tend to be our indica-leaning picks. Limonene and pinene show up more in our sativa and daytime selections. We look at freshness dates, moisture content on the flower itself, and the overall appearance of the bud.

We also pay attention to what our South Main and Riley Park regulars are actually buying and rebuying. Reorders are the best feedback. If someone comes back for the same product three times in a row, that product stays on the shelf as long as the producer keeps delivering consistent quality.

BC Craft Flower , What Sets It Apart

BC-grown craft cannabis has a reputation that predates legalization by decades. Small-batch cultivation in the Interior and on the Sunshine Coast produced some of the most sought-after cannabis in the world before any of it was legal. Some of those same growers are now licensed producers operating under Health Canada oversight. Organnicraft and Simply Bare are two examples we stock regularly that came out of that legacy.

The difference you notice in craft flower is usually in the terpene expression. Complex, layered, and specific to the strain rather than generic. It costs more. When you are buying something you are going to smoke or vape, the quality difference is worth the cost for most people who care about what they are consuming.

Indica, Sativa, Hybrid , The Practical Version

Most cannabis on the BC legal market is a hybrid. The pure landrace indica or sativa is rare. The indica/sativa labels are still useful as general guidance , indica-leaning strains tend to produce more body-focused relaxation, sativa-leaning strains tend toward cerebral and uplifting effects , but the terpene content is a better predictor of how any specific product will actually feel. Ask our Main Street team what the dominant terpenes are on whatever you are looking at. That conversation is more useful than the label alone.
